HEY KIDS! It's Rachel & I just got home from my surprise visit to the KSM Concert in Chicago tonight!! So here's how it all went down...

I woke up at five this morning to take a shower, blow dry my mess, & straighten it/prep for the show considering I couldn't bring a straightener onto the train. At six in the A.M., we drove to the train station & boarded our train. During the duration of COMPLETE BORINGNESS, I listened to my iPod, ate junk food, & cat napped.

To get me pumped, my KSM playlist was playing full blast & I was ready to get off the train after four hours of doing absolutely nothing. We were treking around Chicago, & yes this was my first time seeing it. I started video taping, but I couldn't do any talking in my videos do to trying to save my battery, which was an epic fail in the end.

We finally arrived at The House of Blues in Chicago by taxi & bombarded the place to recieve our tickets at will call. While waiting in the will call line, I decided to sit on the floor, yet again. After we recieved our tickets, we were sent to a preexisting line extended from the back entrance to more than two blocks down.

As I was waiting, I was blasting Flyleaf & had just remembered to call my drum instructor, who of which hung up on me because I was canceling practice - what a bummer. Then, I see Mama Cobra & Mama Cecil walking down the side walk towards me. I got their attention, & asked what was going on. To my disbelief, the girls had been hungry, extremely, & they were hunting down some food - who woulda' thought?!

After waiting another hour in line, we started entering The House of Blues while speeding up the stairs to get a good spot. I couldn't. I was too short to even comprehend the crowd there!! So I kept my distance from the stage & watched Jimmy Robbins, & then KSM preform. I took about two to three good videos involving KSM, which will soon be posted on our Youtube account. I'm not quite sure the quality of the videos, but I know I had to step on my tippy toes to see over the heads blocking my way, which is why they are a little shaky.

I would have to say KSM's overall performance level is nothing short of phemominal. I enjoyed every note played, & to see the in concert was again, phenominal as well. I believe that they couldn't have done a better job, because the songs they played sounded exactly like I would hear them on my iPod. The only down side of the show wasn't performance wise, but from where I was standing. I couldn't see more than half of the drummer Kate's face due to extreme tallness. Although I wanted to learn some technique outta' her performance, I was happy with what I recieved.

After KSM's performance, I went to the merchandise table consisting of preordering KSM's CD "Read Between The Lines" which I did happily. The man was sweet enough to hand out a free poster for the youngling, my sister & yet another CD, which would be my ninth over all, of the EP "I Want You To Want Me".

After I enjoyed a jaw dropping performance from Mitchel Musso, I headed back to the merchandise table where the KSM meet & greet was taking place. When I got up there, I was mainly talking to Shae, the lead guitarist, & Kate, the drummer, do to utter chaos that was taking place. I got the posters signed & I chatted it up with them for a bit. When I was done giving them news & updates about the site, Kate said see you tomorrow in responce to my words, "see you later!"

Tomorrow, I will be seeing them live in St. Louis with Tyler, & I'm nothing short of psyched for what surprises we will bring you fans, & the girls as well.
